After sifting through advert after advert, they all start to look the same. It is as if the requirements are generic: Matric certificate, a qualification, and some years of experience.
It would be nice if employers could understand that life has a tendency of throwing a few curve balls, and it is sometimes not possible to tick off everything on their list.
Job hunting is hard enough as it is, and knowing that you don’t have all the requirements listed – especially Matric, can really be disheartening.
However, being without a Matric certificate no longer means that you can’t get a good qualification and a good job. There are many accredited colleges throughout the country that do not require a Matric certificate.
Skills Academy offers learners who were unable to complete their Matric year the opportunity to start their journey afresh, and achieve the goals that they have set for themselves.
How is this possible?
Follow these three simple steps, and you will be framing your certificate in no time:
Step one: Enrol for any course with an NQF level 3.
Step two: Complete the NQF level 3 course successfully.
Step three: Move on to an NQF level 4 course.
All NQF level 3 courses are open to students who have passed Grade 10 or 11.
Once you have obtained an NQF level 4 qualification, you will be on the same academic level as someone who passed Matric.
It is now up to you to make it happen, and remember – the world is your oyster! Go out there and don’t allow anything to stand in your way.
